I work in Miami, Florida and I was wondering if my employer can make overtime mandatory.?
I always thought that making overtime mandatory was illegal? Please help.

Yes they can. Since Florida is a "right to work" State, they can also fire you for any or no reason.

Sure they can. And the ability to fire an employee for no reason is because Florida is an "employment at will" State, not because it's a "Right to work" State. "Right to work" means that an employer cannot make Union membership a requirement to get or keep a job. Richard
